Helps with my chipping woes.
Date:24 November 2012
I got this club because I struggle with chipping. I've used it a couple of times and when I let the club do the job it works well. Before getting this club, I tried using a 3 hybrid but found the staff too long. The chipper is a much better option for me. As a lefty, I have to order my clubs without prior testing. I've been extremely pleased with all my purchases from GolfOutletsUSA.

Very good club for the money
Date:08 November 2012
Very nice club. I bought this for a friend, and he is very happy with it. Has a little trouble judging the distance because the club is heavier, but he thinks in time it will work well for him.

A Must for the amateur golfer
Date:08 November 2012
This club makes chipping just off the green easy to master. It's helped me immensely improve my short game. My only suggestion is that the grip could be bigger.

fun club
Date:20 September 2011
This club has character, and is fun to use for those just
off the green shots. You get the pop shot to put you on
and you're good to go.

Great Buy!
Date:17 August 2011
One thing I was looking for in a chipper was a solid feel at impact, something my previous chipper didn't have. I've had no problem adjusting to the Texan Classics chipper and my confidence in it is increasing with each round I play. I had it resized to match my putter length and it works very well.

Great addition to your bag
Date:06 July 2011
Great addition for your bag. It definitely took a few strokes off my game. I've wanted a chipper for a while and so glad I found this one - solid product, great price.
It is a heavy club, which is a good thing considering the circumstances you would use this club. I could never get those little 'popper' shots around the green quite right with irons/wedges. Problem solved!
I do find the shaft too long and the grip much too thin for what is essentially a lofted putter. I have no problem with that at all as I would rather cut the shaft than buy a new one (i.e., if I was tall and the shaft was too short). And let's face it - we all regrip our clubs anyway.
PS. I bought two. As a lefty it is quite hard to find specialty clubs. When this one wears out I have a backup ready to go!

Loved this club right out of box. I am horrible at chipping off of tight lies and this chipper gives me confidence to not skull or chunk my shot.
